KoR Whitening Deep Bleaching System is a clinically developed and tested teeth whitening process. Unlike many other whitening solutions that lack  permanence, inability to correct deep intrinsic staining such as those resulting from tetracycline, and create hypersensitivity in teeth, KoR is different.

The KoR Whitening Deep Bleaching System was developed by Dr. Rod Kurthy, renowned as a leading cosmetic dentist and dentistry consultant to various dental product manufacturers. It works as a combination of both in-office and at home treatments which allow more control over how strong the whitening process should be, as well as the period in which it should last.

This system involves two in-office whitening sessions which are a week apart, while you use a custom-molded mouth tray with whitening gel at home before your next office session. The at home treatment will involve the use of a 16% carbamide peroxide solution, while the in-office appointment will involve the use of a strong 9% hydrogen peroxide solution. Your second office appointment will involve the use of either the 9% hydrogen peroxide solution, or the DeepBleachingMax with 27% hydrogen peroxide content, depending on what your dentist recommends.

Whitening agents received from your dentist are normally fresher and stronger than anything available over-the-counter. The freshness is due to the fact that the KoR Whitening Deep Bleaching System is taken from a completely refrigerated manufacturing and delivery protocol, and is thereafter kept refrigerated in the dentist office before it is used on you. The refrigeration is noted as being essential for higher potency and thus longer lasting effectiveness. Moreover, refrigeration is great for patients who tend to experience hypersensitivity, because the bleach remains fresher for a longer time, thus removing any need for the addition of irritating chemicals in order to increase its shelf life.

KoR's  custom trays have superior fit which seals tightly once positioned on the teeth. In addition, the solution has a higher potency, the gel has reduced sensitivity, and the at-home bleaching period is much more effective than other bleaching systems. KoR's more effective wearing time also means that this whitening system is able to work harder and for much longer than others, thereby restoring the oxygen-absorbing abilities of the teeth. The teeth are thus able to deeply absorb the oxygen in the whitening gel, thereby permanently dissolving any long term or deeply ingrained stains. In some instances, this can produce up to twenty shades of whitening.

Hypersensitive patients are recommended to use KoR Desensitizer after an in-office bleaching procedure, which is effective in the desensitization and sealing of the teeth.
